IMPROV
Austentatious
Joseph is the co-creator of Austentatious - an improvised comedy show in the style of Jane Austen.
Over the last decade, Austentatious has developed into one of the most successful improvised shows in the UK. Based on a single audience suggestion, the cast improvise a full-length comic play, decked out in Regency garb and accompanied by a live musician.
The show is currently resident in London’s West End, has had many sell-out Edinburgh Festival runs, and has toured across the UK and Europe. The show has had two specials on BBC Radio 4, and performed everywhere from Hay Festival to Latitude.
Fellow cast members include Cariad Lloyd (Griefcast), Rachel Parris (The Mash Report) and Andrew Hunter Murray (No Such Thing As A Fish).
